This policy explains what Garden Logbook collects, why it is collected and the choices available to you.

Who operates Garden Logbook
Garden Logbook is operated by TEAM CNC SOLUTIONS PTY LTD, Australia. References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean TEAM CNC SOLUTIONS PTY LTD.
Information you provide
We collect the account details needed to provide the service, such as your email address. The app stores garden locations, spaces, plants, crops, discoveries, wishlist items, journal entries, scheduled tasks, preferences, support requests and the photographs or plant-label images you choose to upload.
Location and weather
If you grant permission, the app may use your approximate or precise device location to show relevant weather. You can deny or withdraw device permission. Saved garden-location information may remain in your account until you edit or delete it.
Identification services
When you deliberately request plant, plant-health or insect identification, the selected photographs and information needed to complete that request are sent to the identification provider. We do not send every plant photograph for identification automatically.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure Garden Logbook, synchronise your records across devices, store and display your photographs, deliver requested identification results, provide support, maintain usage allowances and improve reliability.
Service providers
Garden Logbook uses specialist providers for infrastructure and requested features, including Google Firebase for authentication, database and file storage; Expo services for app delivery and notifications; weather-data providers; and Kindwise for requested image identification. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information or garden records. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect the service and its users, or to service providers acting on our behalf.
Storage and security
Records and photographs are stored using cloud infrastructure and may be processed outside Australia. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can edit or delete garden records within the app, disable optional permissions and notifications, and download a complete backup where supported. To request account deletion, access or correction that you cannot complete in the app, contact support.
Retention
We retain account information and garden records while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups.
Children
Garden Logbook is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
